Pitched Roof Insulated Between & Below Rafters (option B)

This is the second of 2 options for n internally fitted pitched roof insulation system insulated between and below rafters. The system comprises predominantly of rigid Isolair Multi wood fibre Insulation Boards, a choice of flexible natural insulation for insulating between the rafters and a breathable lime plaster finish.

This breathable system offers fantastic levels of protection from internal summertime overheating, outstanding thermal performance, humidity regulation, acoustic protection and superior sustainability credentials. This low embodied carbon insulation solution is a fantastic choice for both homeowners and specifiers. Wood fibre roofs are a sustainable and reliable system for upgrading existing buildings.

  2. Below rafter insulation – ISOLAIR MULTI
  3. 6-8mm Baumit RK70N lime plaster base coat with STARTEX embedded mesh
  4. 3-4mm Baumit RK70N lime plaster finish coat
