Development in Dorset
The development in Dorset is the largest Passivhaus development in the UK. It comprises 79 one, two and three-bedroom Passivhaus homes, all with a timber frame construction. The flats and terraced houses are predominantly insulated using PAVATEX’s Timber Frame Clad & and EWI Render systems, delivering extremely high levels of thermal performance and airtightness, and preventing summertime overheating. The energy-efficient homes provide a mixture of private and social housing at an impressive build cost of just £1,000/m2 for the entire build (2013 Prices)
