ADAPTAVATE BreathAplasta Universal Lime Plaster

Breathaplasta Universal is a highly breathable blended lime plaster that increases the thermal insulation of your walls and provides natural humidity regulation for improved indoor air quality. This is achieved by the addition of insulative biomaterial – crop waste from hemp plants  – to the blended lime mix. (NHL 3.5)

The inclusion of biomaterial regulates and reduces airborne moisture and increases the surface temperature of walls. Warmer walls and reduced moisture combine to prevent the formation of condensation and mould on wall surfaces. Indoor air quality is improved for healthier spaces.

BreathAplaster Universal is a quick setting lime plaster that is a higher performance and healthier alternative to mainstream plaster products and offers you a range of natural lime plaster finishes from smooth lime plaster skim applications to textured finishes and super-textured feature walls. BreathAplaster Universal is also an ultra-breathable lime plaster that regulates moisture and helps reduce problems with condensation and mould. This lime and hemp mixture gives excellent thermal conductivity.

The inclusion of hemp in the mixture gives it more flex, meaning Breathaplasta Universal is suitable for a wide range of backgrounds including:

• All masonry (brick, block and stone)
• Breathable Plasterboards (Wood wool, Wood fibre)
• Standard plasterboard

Before applying this product, the installer must ensure substrates are uniformly flat. Dub out and consolidate uneven masonry. Porous backgrounds should be misted with clean water 15-20 minutes before plastering (not necessary with wood fibre as it doesn’t have a moisture draw from the plaster as some other surfaces.) Suitable for application by trowel or spraying onto the surface.
