Baumit Silikat Top is a Silicate resin based top coat finish render which is for external use.
Silikat top is a ready-to-use, highly vapour permeable, dirt-repellent, silicate thin-layer finish render coat with scratched or dragged grain texture.

When using Silikat Top we recommend a SilikatColor coating to provide additional protection.
Consumption Rates:
- A topcoat render application providing decoration and protection to facades.
- For application over old and new mineral coatings, renovation render basecoats, concrete surfaces and mineral basecoats in
the Baumit EWI Systems. - Also suitable in conservation and renovation work.
Substrates must be sound, clean, dry, free from frost, dust efflorescence and not water repellent. Existing mineral based coatings and
paints must be sound and well bonded to the substrate (confirm with pull off tests and/or cross cut tests acc. To Baumit guidelines).
Surfaces must always be prepared with a full and even coat of the appropriate Baumit Primer before applying Baumit
SilikatTop.
Allow to dry for 24 hours.
