Our cork insulation panels combine sustainability and performance. Cork is a sustainable material for sustainable construction and in the form of cork board insulation offers high performance in thermal, acoustic and anti-vibration insulation, especially suitable for use in external and internal walls, slabs and floors, roofs and ceilings. It is a fantastic thermal and insulator and offers acoustic protection. Each cork insulation panel is environmentally friendly and 100% recyclable at the end of it’s lifespan – they are made from a renewable raw material – cork, which is undergoes a thermal process and releases a resin called suberin – which acts as a natural binder, so no substances are required to form the insulation panels and hold them together.

Because of the natural properties of cork, these insulation boards can be particularly well suited to areas where high moisture levels are present, such as bathrooms and basements. ISOVIT PAINEL ICB is used as thermo-acoustic insulation in the ISOVIT CORK (ETICS) external thermal insulation composite system, correcting linear thermal bridges and reducing their thermal transmission, thereby improving the energy efficiency of the building where it is set up, as well as the acoustic comfort of houses by increasing insulation to the outside noise (air sounds).
