Hemp Block Render System (Ventilated Facade)

This build up utilises the best sustainable insulation materials to ensure you have a system that performs fantastically well.

This system can insulated between studs with one of our recommended flexible insulations such as Pavaflex wood fibre or IndiTherm hemp insulation. The internal wall will have a beautiful lime plaster finish and the external wall is completed using lime render.

The depth of the studs and the thickness of the hemp blocks can be varied to suit the brief for your property. This build up combines all the advantages of timber frame construction with the exceptionally high thermal mass of hempcrete blocks for year round comfort.

It is possible to achieve Passivhaus standards with this system because of the use of either hemp or wood fibre insulation and added thermal mass from the Hempcrete blocks.
