Timber Floor System – Insulated Between Floor Joists
This simple floor insulation system will allow you to effectively insulate between the joists beneath your timber floor.
ADB breathable wind tightness membrane is laid and connected to the walls using airtightness tape around the perimeter. Then a layer of flexible insulation such as Pavaflex wood fibre or sheepwool is fitted, fully filling the space between the floor joists. An airtightness layer then completes the build up before the timber floor is laid.
