Using PAVATEX insulation helps protect the climate in two important ways:

1. Made from Wood – a Natural CO₂ Storage
   PAVATEX insulation boards are made from wood, a renewable material. As trees grow, they absorb carbon dioxide (CO₂) from the air and store it in their wood. When wood is used for insulation, this stored carbon stays locked away, helping reduce the amount of CO₂ in the atmosphere.

   • For example, insulating a single-family house with wood fiber can store about 34,000 kg of CO₂.

2. Better Energy Efficiency
   PAVATEX insulation keeps homes warm in winter and cool in summer. This means less energy is needed for heating and cooling, which saves money and reduces the use of fossil fuels like oil, gas, and coal. Less fuel use means fewer CO₂ emissions.

PAVATEX insulation is made from natural wood fibres, nothing added. The process is eco-friendly and uses little energy.
