IONIC PROTECT ® is a slight alteration of the molecular protein structure of the wool fibre through a plasma-ion treatment. This specific process is unique as it permanently prevents the wool from being a nutritional source for wool parasites. It is a biocide-free process developed and protected by trademark patents to protect wool from all wool pests.

Plasma ion treatment of the wool fibres protects them from all negative influences that can occur in construction. That way you don’t give moths and insects a chance. In addition, our products can be stored indefinitely thanks to the wool protection.

So, in summary the molecular structure of each wool strand is changed (without any chemicals) so that insects and parasites no longer view it as a free buffet!
