Oxfordshire Timber Frame Extension & Garden Office
This project in a historic market town had a requirement for sustainable, & ecologically conscious building materials. The materials installed suited the owners desire for a low carbon & high performance building making as little environmental impact on the idyllic location as possible.
Isolair has been used on the outside of the timber frame due to its multifunctionality, this allows it to produce both rendered and clad finishes keeping the system simple for installers.
Isolair has a superior density compared to other insulations installed in the same location. This means that its thermal, acoustic and summertime overheating performance are exceptional.
PAVATEXTIL P is a soft thermo-acoustic insulation batt comprised of cotton fibres (85%) originating from recycled textile (jeans and velvet), and polyester fibres (15%). The cotton fibres have hydrophilic and hygroscopic properties and have been subjected to anti-bacterial, fungal and flame retardant treatments, making them resistant to dust mites and mould.
