SOPLUTEC UV is a rainscreen very permeable to water vapour in compliance with DTU 31.2, designed to be laid on vertical walls. It is especially suitable to be used behind outer cladding with open joints or slatted wood façade on buildings with timber or metal frame.
SOPLUTEC UV has a double integrated adhesive to ensure overlaps assembly and is used as rainscreen behind outer cladding, in compliance with standard NF P 21-204-1. For open cladding gaps ≤ 30mm wide and the uncovered area must be less than 40% of the total area’.
SOPLUTEC UV is temporary fastened with nails or staples, then maintained by cleats fixed on the frame. PAVAFIX tapes are also used in combination with the membrane to provide superior airtightness and weather protection on overlaps.

Keep the building dry and breathable:
When used in combination with very vapour permeable and hygroscopic PAVATEX wood fibre boards the SOPLUTEC UV membrane provides exceptional weather protection without affecting the breathability. This allows the wood fibre boards to disperse accumulating short term moisture and protect vulnerable elements of the building fabric, with no reduction in the performance of the boards themselves. The boards allow moisture from within the structure to pass easily to the outside. This provides a safeguard against high moisture content. This is vital for the long-term health of the building fabric, and is completely overlooked by most conventional insulation systems.
